Banshee 1.4.2 Released
Banshee 1.4.2 is a stable release with many bug fixes and minor improvements. Fixed and improved are RSS feed parsing, library rescanning, occasional startup freezes, launching on device insertion, several crashers, and improved playback on OS X (still a technology preview/alpha release).

yeah ¡¡¡ congratulations the video support is fantastic (avi, flv, 3gp, mp4, all ¡¡) ,now i can play all my files in banshee bye vlc,exaile,totem

Love Banshee, but can’t use it. I hope for the Windows port soon… there is really no decent music library/players out right now for Windows.

I love the player. What I would like to suggest is that it would be great if you could tag tracks when listening to last.fm, and why not… maybe banshee would have it’s own tag system for tracks (so when you tag a track for last.fm, it will get tagged in your local banshee music db also).

I’m relatively new to Banshee (I was using Rhythmbox) but I think it’s great! This release works perfectly with my mp3 player!!
